Hotel Torre d’Aguilha
This international gathering will focus on transpersonal psychology and its contributions to the understanding and healing of early life wounds.
Under the theme “Happy Babies, Whole Incarnations: Contributions from Transpersonal Psychology and Other Approaches to Healing Early Wounds”, the symposium will bring together professionals from various fields—psychologists, psychotherapists, educators, researchers, and students – interested in integrative and humanistic approaches to human development and mental health.
Over two days of lectures, workshops, and immersive experiences, participants will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and practices related to conception, birth, early bonding, and how these formative moments shape emotional and relational life.
The programme includes:
• Lectures by international experts in clinical psychology, psychotherapy, conscious parenting, and early trauma interventions;
• Extended experiential workshops led by experienced facilitators;
• Community sharing circles and interdisciplinary dialogue in an atmosphere of deep listening, critical thinking, and human connection.
You can also expect:
• All meals and coffee breaks included in the ticket price;
• The option to stay overnight at the hotel at very affordable rates;
• A solo meditative concert by international artist Netanel Goldberg;
• A dedicated integration and mental health support room;
• A follow-up online integration session via Zoom after the symposium.
Up to 300 participants from various countries and professional backgrounds are expected to attend. The event will be held in English, with oral translation into Portuguese, ensuring accessibility for both international and local participants.
Organised by EUROTAS – Global Transpersonal Network and Almasoma – Instituto de Transpessoal, the 8th EUROTAS International Symposium is a non-profit event aimed at creating a meeting space for science, clinical practice, and lived experience, with a strong focus on prevention, best therapeutic practices, and the nurturing of human development from its very origins.
