EUROTAS Board of Advisors
Advisory Board is a Circle of Medicine, composed by elders (past presidents, past Board members), wise women and men, medicine women and men, experts, transpersonal leaders that are able to keep the vision, hold the space, dream the future, get insights, offer creative proposals; scholars and researchers able to organize the knowledge for a balanced integration between mind and heart.

- Bio: Vitor Rodrigues is a psychologist, psychotherapist, lecturer and writer (16 books published). Vitor has been connected with the transpersonal area since the adolescence and through a study of Esoteric Traditions. He became a Regression Therapist in the nineties. A former president of EUROTAS, he is a member of The European Association for Regression Therapy and a teacher at the Sofia University, USA. He also published some relevant work in the transpersonal field, namely the recent book (2023) Experiential Consciousness and the Nature of Human Identity (as an editor and author). His methods include hypnosis, regression, meditation, body work, psychic defence.

- Bio: Steven Schmitz holds a Ph.D. in Transpersonal Psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology. His doctoral research was on “The Therapeutic Use of the Shamanic Journey.” Steven has a private practice in Shamanic Counseling and Shamanic Healing, and is an international teacher, lecturer, and workshop leader on topics of shamanism, transpersonal psychology, rituals, and healing. Steven is a former President of the Association for Transpersonal Psychology (ATP), a former Board Officer of the European Transpersonal Association (Eurotas), and a Founding Board Member of the International Q’eros Foundation (IQF). He is currently a Board Member and Outreach Committee Chair of ATP. Steven has practiced shamanism and zazen since 1974.

- Bio: Dr. Serge Obolensky Beddington-Behrens, MA (Oxon.), Ph.D., K.O.M.L., is an Oxford-educated Transpersonal Psychotherapist, Author, Educator and Spiritual Activist. He has an online private practice and for forty years, has lectured, taught workshop and conducted Spiritual retreats all over England, Europe, America and Russia. He now does intensive individualised retreats with individuals and couples. He is the author of three books, Awakening the Universal Heart: A Guide for Spiritual Activists, Gateways to the Soul: Inner Work for the Outer World, and his new book, coming out in September, entitled Amazing Grace. In 1999 he was awarded an Italian Knighthood for services to Humanity. He currently lives in Mallorca, Spain.

Elias Capriles | Venezuela

- Bio: Elías Capriles – Teacher of Dzogchen, filosopher, metashamanic facilitator and theorist of transpersonal psychology. Elías has experientially researched on psychedelics for many decades. He created and managed Refuges for Spiritual Emergencies (Swayambhunath and Anjuna Beach). He received all the transmissions for Dzogchen and practiced that teaching in successive three-months retreats in the higher Himalayas. Then he further delved into philosophy in two Universities and produced a philosophical and psychological system of ecological and egalitarian tendency based on Buddhism and Dzogchen—which he expressed in many books, academic articles and book chapters. In Mérida (Venezuela) he helped create the “Arturo Eichler” ecological coordinating body and actively took part in activities of political ecology. He taught at the Universidad de Los Andes (Departamento de Filosofía, Cátedra de Estudios Orientales, Centro de Investigación de África y Asia) until his retirement, and has offered a great number of lectures in manifold universities in Europe, América and Asia. Currently he teaches Dzogchen in many countries, both within the Internacional Dzogchen Community and outside it. He is part of the Board of the International Transpersonal Asociation (ITA) and the Asociación Transpersonal Iberoamericana (ATI), as well as of different academic journals in various countries. His work has been discussed in books on philosophy in France, Spain, Mexico and Venezuela, as well as in the Journal of Transpersonal Psychology.

- Bio: Judith Miller has been working as a psychotherapist, clinical psychologist, spiritual guide, and teacher to people who have been traveling psycho-spiritual paths for over thirty years. Her work incorporates 1 to 1 therapy sessions (online and in-person), professional supervision, University teaching, Holotropic Breathwork retreats and trainings, and international teaching. She has taken her work to Europe, the Middle East, S. Korea, and China. She also is the author of Direct Connection: Transformation of Consciousness (in English and German translation), Healing the Western Soul (in English, and German and Italian translation), and has written numerous articles on Integral psychology and mystical topics over the years.
Her major interests focus on Consciousness Evolution for these times, cross-cultural commonalities on the psycho-spiritual path, and the importance for therapists and healers to bring the “Sacred” into Transpersonal Psychology itself, and into the daily lives of their clients and students.Her website is www.drjudithmiller.com
